First I’d like to state that I’m not getting paid for this endorsement but I feel compelled to make it.

A couple weeks ago I had a really nasty computer virus. (emphasis on REALLY NASTY). This was particularly troubling because I’d paid for an antivirus program and it clearly hadn’t worked.

Mr. Tech guy recommended AVG antivirus which is FREE. Once you download and set it up, the software does automatic scans and updates. He’d installed AVG on my dad’s computer when he’d visted us last about 6 months ago and guess what? Dad’s computer was CLEAN.

If you know anything about what a tech-challenged guy my dad is you’d realize how incredible it is. My dad is one of those people who opens every email attachment and when he gets a popup clicks whatever button is closest to make it go away. This includes the “accept” button. *shudder*

The fact that my dad’s impatience with computers didn’t land him in computer virus hell just proves how great AVG is. I’m sold based on my dad’s experience. Woo hoo!
