I decided when creating this page that I wanted to have my own ratings system for deals. That way my reader could look at the post category and know exactly what kind of deal he or she would be getting.
I kept it as simple as possible because I’m just that kind of gal:
Free! Free! FREE!- Because we all know free is the best discount of all
Earn Money Back- Kind of speaks for itself I think
Free Shipping- In the age of internet purchasing and wildly fluctuating gas prices it certainly doesn’t hurt.
Just Plain Interesting- Yes, sometimes I talk about things that have nothing to do with saving money, I just find them interesting. Hopefully you will too.
Tahiti-Bound- I have no idea what sort of deal would be so amazing that I’d move to Tahiti over it. Particularly since I’ve never been to Tahiti. But I like to keep my options open.
Grading Discounts
Amazing Discount- This is the A game. It’s 75% off or BETTER but not quite FREE. Any time I see that kind of deal I consider it carefully.
Better Discount- (B)etter then some but not as good as Amazing…yes I’ve related them to school grades so you’ll remember them better. Better is anything from 50% up to 75% off
Cool Discount- Anything from 20% up to 50% off. These are the sorts of discounts I’m more eager to pass along to my friends. Still not moving to Tahiti though.
Decent Discount- A nice discount is up to 20% off. Yes, I’ll take it but I’m not quitting my job and moving to Tahiti.
