Coupon Inserts

If you’re one of those people who chases down the newspaper just so you can raid the coupons (hey, only a fool pays full price for cereal) then this is the post for you.

The BeCentsAble blog has just posted a coupon insert calendar so some of our more obsessive compulsive clippers don’t panic when there aren’t inserts on holidays. Don’t worry, nobody stole them out of your paper.

Restaurant Discounts. All over the place!

I looked it up for my area and they have a number of restaurants listed where I’d be more then happy to eat for more then half off in some cases.

It’s easy! Find a restaurant you’d like to visit. Purchase a gift certificate using the link above. In many even the worst coupon gives you at least 40% off! Now you don’t have to feel guilty about eating out!

Or you can give them as gifts! Instead of giving someone a giftcard for $25 that you actually paid $25 for, you’re finding them at discount.

Please make sure you read all fine print. Some restrictions may apply.

Free Coffee Pot and Scoop

Try Gevalia Coffee and Get a FREE Coffeemaker!

If you’re anything like me you break your coffee pot constantly. Or you burn it out. I’ve gotten very tired of paying $20-40 each for coffee pots and I’m always paranoid about cheap plastic.

Enter Gevalia. Apparently they are a European company that has been selling coffee for over 140 years. And since we used to use their coffee at a law firm I worked for I know it’s good. More importantly they have an amazing introductory price right now.

The deal is:
Try two pounds of our exceptional coffee and receive a Deluxe Programmable Stainless Steel Coffeemaker, Gevalia Travel Mug & Stainless Steel Coffee Scoop as a special gift, all for only $29.95 plus $5.95 shipping and handling.

I just priced these at the store the other day and Stainless Steel coffeemakers run at least $50, the travel mug is around $15 and the scoop is probably pretty pricey too.

Plus you get gourmet coffee thrown in for free!

More importantly, you don’t have to leave the comfort of your home and if you’re stuck snowed in like my best friend, that’s the ultimate gift.

Just remember they enroll you in their coffee program so if you don’t want to get future shipments you have to notify them.

Upromise: Money for Education

My new friend Carrie over at Money Saving Methods told me about this. It’s brilliant really. The purpose of the organization is to harness your spending power and give you money back for it. That money then goes into an account and you can use it for your child’s college education. I don’t have kids so I’m doing it for my God children. For more info click below!

Free Disneyland on your Birthday!

Free Disney on your birthday

I live in Southern California but haven’t been to Disneyland for many years in large part because of the price. It seems like there is always something better I can do with that $100 (admission and a couple drinks). I got so excited when I saw this ad though. For one thing my best friend’s daughter and I were born on the same day so she and I will get in free on our birthday and that makes everyone else’s entry ticket an absolute bargain.

Note: you MUST register in advance so do that HERE for Disneyland California. Click HERE for Disney World in Florida.

If you have several kids this will probably save you some much-needed cash!
